Mentor
Faculty 1955–72

Professor Wolfgang Friedmann was a man and mentor, who taught so many, as a worldly law teacher and scholar, the role of international law and its potential for world peace—and, tragically, left us through violent attack and death as he strolled our very immediate Columbian world of Morningside Heights. A great gift and loss to so many.
