Edna Holtzman Senderoff (1917– )

Edna H. Senderoff graduated in 1938 from Barnard College, and sought a career teaching English and training young minds to appreciate literature within the New York City Board of Education school system. After dedicating nearly fifty years of educating students, Ms. Senderoff retired from the John Peter Tetard Junior High School 143, located in Kingsbridge Heights section of the Bronx. Edna and her husband (Benjamin) reside in Riverdale, New York.

Recently, Edna Senderoff and 23 Barnard classmates celebrated their 65th reunion on May 29–June 1, 2003. She remains active within Barnard College Alumni Affairs, by serving as the treasurer of her class.
